Suprisingly they’re refunding everyone, it was 40 USD too
Wow from the sounds of it they're gonna lose like, 400 dollars out of this debacle
There’s also the $100 million development cost
Presumably it will come back as some free-to-play, live-service microtransaction-filled nightmare that can be supported by a few whales and eventually make up the cost
Shit should be public domain, free for anyone to host themselves. I don't give a shit about this particular game but leaving the preservation of cultural history up to for profit entities is not a good idea as they have proven time and again.
They did hint that they might bring the game back, but it’s not 100%
