Don't forget that CNN has shifted with the Overton Window to the right.
CNN is just about what Faux News was when it first launched. They pander to both sides but just a little more to the right.

some details for anyone unaware that this has been gradually happening since they got bought a few years ago. Class war is a bitch when they own all the media.
There is an author that wrote a book about 20 years ago that was his mea culpa for helping CNN to create the shout show format. I'm not sure they've ever really been even half as "liberal" as the unhinged right wing claims.
Jon Stewart's appearance on Crossfire was also 20 years ago now.
Yes, good point. I was going to mention that Firing Line with Bill F'ing Buckley was on PBS long before then, too. And PBS is supposedly the network of Karl Marx, if you are to believe the unhinged right wing.
And that's after Buckley called Vidal a queer and threatened him with violence.
Firing Line is something the people at CNN were most likely influence by. I wish I could remember the name of that book and the name of the person that wrote it, but I bet they even said something about Firing Line.
In any case, this stuff has been going on for a very long time, on my supposedly "liberal media" television stations...LOL.
