This is why I don't look into musicians lives for the most part, so many good musicians have shitty takes or ideas I'd rather just listen to the music

I don't usually either; typically only I become aware of it if they're outspoken about their shitty views or beliefs. Nevertheless, J.K Rowling has made me very aware of how even buying creative works can result in my money being used to support things I don't believe in.
