We are a Pro-Conservative forum. Posts must have a clear pro-conservative, or anti left-wing bias. We are interested in promoting conservatism and discussing things that might get ignored elsewhere. All sources are acceptable, however reputable sources with a reputation for factual reporting are preferred.

Dissent is allowed in the comments, but try to be constructive; if you do not agree, then provide a reason which is backed up by references or a reasonable alternative interpretation of the provided facts. That means the left wing is welcome to state their opinions, but please keep it in good faith.
A polite request, not a rule, if you feel the need to report a comment, please don't reply to it.

Matthew 7:1-2
7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Genesis 19:13
For we are about to destroy this place, because the outcry against its people has become great before the Lord, and the Lord has sent us to destroy it.
Do you believe the lord has sent you to destroy the LGBTQ?
I am an atheist.
Interesting choice of bible passages, then.
Almost seemed like a call to violence.
It’s about judging.
because the outcry against its people has become great before the Lord
You don't know what those verses are teaching. Tell your understanding of those verses.
Human beings are not qualified to pronounce judgment because they are blind to their own sin.
Wrong. You judge others as you will be judged, and judge not by what others will not judge you. William Shakespeare's "Measure For Measure". Judgement is necessary for justice. Jesus wasn't preaching for the banishment of all judgement. Jesus is the final judge. In the Qur'an, he knows the Last Hour, and he will return on the End Of Days to separate the wicked from the righteous. It is equity; egalitarianism in Western culture which was taught generation to generation, Bible and Church to mother to offspring. You don't understand the Bible. The things that Westerners learned from Christianity became the basis of law. Christianity is unescapable, you are brainwashed by it, and don't even know it.
Yeah, well, that's just like, your interpretation, man.
That actually the Christian version. It’s funny to watch people quote the Bible who know nothing about it.

Raised Christian. You don’t know that book either. It’s a translation from a translation passed down by dudes who wanted to control society.
I agree.
Human beings are not qualified to pronounce judgment because they are blind to their own sin.
You didn’t read the whole thing did you? It’s about judging the righteous of another.
As it says
Christ is clear that "right judgment" (John 7:24) includes distinguishing between good and evil
I didn’t realize John 7:1-2 included John 7:24.
lol. Then you shouldn’t be trying to cite something you don’t understand. It’s all part of the same chapter. What Jesus is saying is don’t bitch about your neighbor not being religious enough, that’s for God to decide.
No, what John is saying that Jesus said is that human beings are not qualified to pronounce judgment because they are blind to their own sin.
You’re misreading it. You think it means you can’t judge anything which isn’t true and even Jesus clarifies it.
The section is about people calling about the acts of others to make themselves look more pious.
He isn’t saying don’t judge anyone for any reason. He wants people to be judged for the right reasons.
Not sure you got the cultural references. The Pharisees is often used in the Bible. Jesus spoke out against them often. Sometimes they are in a story to be the foil.
I’m sure you’re familiar with the paralytic man. That’s a parable told to illustrate what Jesus was talking about.
No, I think my interpretation of the passage is correct.
We it goes against the two people explained it to you and the two citations including your own but you do you.
I literally cited my own citation.
Yet you didn’t cite the other section where they explained it about acting pious and to judge people for evil acts. lol. As in the core explanation of the verse section.
I didn’t cite New Living Translation’s Ezekiel 23:20 either but I can.
She lusted after lovers with genitals as large as a donkey’s and emissions like those of a horse.
And? What woman doesn’t?
My wife.
Checkmate, self-described atheist.
I think we’re done here.
That’s just what she tells you to make you feel better.
Ironically that is a metaphor. It’s about Samaria and Jerusalem. It’s actually not about a guy with a large penis who cums like a bronco.
There are a lot of stories that carry hidden meaning.
Amazing, not only you know Jesus better than me, but you know my wife too.
I think Ocham's razor applies here.
