Yes, historically it is well known that racist are more tolerant of mixed race people /s
I'm bi racial with brown skin. So, if someone's being racist toward me I just identify as white and they leave me alone.
well i mean yeah, historically, but i dont recall about speaking historically.
So despite all evidence to the contrary, surely this is the exact moment in time when it has become easier for mixed race people?
are you arguing that racism hasn't changed at all since historical accounts of racism?
I mean, i don't think i fundamentally disagree, but considering i was never talking about racism in the first place, im not sure how much this matters.
Speaking of ethnically relevant group social behaviors, china is a prime example of this. They have a certain type of behavior around foreigners, since they aren't very common and chinese society is largely homogeneous, even including the existing minority racism that's going on in china, those are more closely related to the broader populous than an american, for example.
you see similar things around other societies as well, this is extremely prominent among remote tribes and groups of people living in places the general populous doesn't live. Interaction between the two is often, very weird.
I guess that's hard to respond to considering your post was removed by moderators. I'm sure that has nothing to do with racist speech in the post and was completely unrelated and unjustified.
yeah, unfortunately it's a little hard to tell due to it being fucking deleted, but what i can tell you, is that mods never told me why it was deleted, so i assumed they just thought it was bad juju and didn't want it on this post, which fair enough i guess.
I feel like if they thought it was racism i would've been informed otherwise. That or fucking banned.
What i can say is that i didn't do anything explicitly racist, i could see how it could be interpreted as racist, but you would have to have a really generous opinion of what i said or what the definition of racism is in order to make that call ultimately.
pontificating about the behaviorisms of different ethnic groups in society isn't inherently racist, in fact it's arguably a good way to study for potential racism within a society. Arguably, it may even be the only way to discover racism at a more systemic fundamental level.
idk i just think social behavior is interesting, and this post kinda sparked that shit in my mind, especially with that recent Kendrick diss beef, that also alluded to the same shit.
oh and btw, before you try and get clever, i mostly listen to 90s era electronic music, with a heavy european bias, because for some reason, that's mostly where that era of electronic music came from (the stuff i enjoy at least) (this is also yet another place where ethnic differences would be involved though, there is substantial study on different cultures and how they approach the concept of music, with the western european approach being generally monolithic due to the usual european history shenanigans, man, isn't this stuff so much fun?)
though i do also listen to a lot of american metal, i don't really get much outside of that sphere, because i would really have to spend a lot of time cultivating music otherwise.
