Hello, Protestant German here. I’m hearing a lot about the infamous Quran burnings in Sweden, and find it very strange. To me it’s fighting fire with fire, and as Muslims are very religious I can imagine it hurts them a lot.

Can someone help me understand how this makes sense?

Maybe I don’t have the full picture. Thank you!

If freedom was limited to other people’s feelings, we wouldn’t have a Pride parade. Imagine all the people who are offended by the very existence of homosexuality!

The difference is that they think they will go to hell, if they do not defend god. And going to heaven is their life goal.
