Hello, Protestant German here. I’m hearing a lot about the infamous Quran burnings in Sweden, and find it very strange. To me it’s fighting fire with fire, and as Muslims are very religious I can imagine it hurts them a lot.

Can someone help me understand how this makes sense?

Maybe I don’t have the full picture. Thank you!

You do not seem to be empathic enough or open minded enough to accept that different people deem different things important. I don’t want blasphemy laws back. I want you to understand that you have no right to dictate what a Muslim deems hurtful or not. And to understand how childish it is, that when you know it is hurtful to them, that you keep hurting them.
