If they're invasive yeah nuke em. Otherwise you're good.

Something doesn’t have to be invasive to be detrimental to your plants or yard.

Slugs are awesome, but if they get at my garden, yeah I’m gonna do something to deal with them, that’s reality.

Its about degrees, right? If you see 1 leaf with 1 slug are you going to bust out the poison? Prob not. That's different from seeing a plant overrun. If those cateepillars aren't mobbing on your tree en masse it's prob OK to leave em alone.

I’ll bust out the copper tape, because if you have one, you have more, and it’s easier to deal with an infestation before you have it.

Hence my post and asking, but to claim only invasive bugs are bad is pretty wild growmie.
