I think they're saying that the production of rice and beans also exploits workers.
I’m guessing they typed that comment on an electronic device that was manufactured by Uyghur slave labor in China. Good luck buying anything outside of a farmer’s market without exploiting workers today.
So don't even try? Are you vegan and saying this??
There’s no reason to imply extremism. I’m saying there will be a degree of worker exploitation in anything outside of locally sourced products. I personally don’t know of any staple imports that are grown and harvested through labor unions or socialism. If you know of any, please share.
