Depends... is your other option not a doctor at all, and he hates you, and has openly stated that he hopes you die in the procedure? Those are you current two choices, America. Go with the sleepy one.
It also completely ignores the fact that the sleepy doctor has had a nearly perfect record at the operation. It's only the other guy that poses any threat.
The guy that helped set up for profit prisons, and made it so youth would be fucked over by non forgiveable loans, and helped setup tax evasion for massive corporations, and actually helped create the framework for dismantling roe v wade saying it went to far, and supported the Iraq war, and supports imperialism, and now can barely talk or respond coherently.... Has "a nearly perfect record" ???
Sure.
As far as centrists are concerned, that's a stellar record.
It's not "either Biden or Trump", just have the Democrats present Kamala or Buttigieg or whoever. Polls already point as alternatives to Biden as more likely to beat Trump, and chances are that Biden keeps screwing it up during the following months.
Hey, of the DNC pulls the trigger and runs Kamala or Bootygreg or some other younger Dem....well, I am voting AGAINST P2025, so I don't care....but I am not voting third party and spoiling the vote because "old man old"...his crew is competent and doing good things. Shitz have him take Kami or Bootyjudge as VP and just bow out after the race...again don't care.
I'm not saying "Don't vote Democrat if their candidate is Biden", I'm saying "there's a fuckton of low-information voters who are unlikely to vote for a guy who clearly displays Biden's health issues".
There's a lot of people who complain but know the reality of the situation and will vote according but low info voters are another issue altogether. People on here don't realize that.
There's a lot of people out there who don't pay nearly the same amount of attention to the news as the people on lemmy do. You have to work around these groups. This is why being likeable is important. These people lack most of the information, many of them don't even care. You can't just sit there and scream at them how they're ruining their own lives. That doesn't work.
At some point I'm going to assume that half of Lemmy users are solipsists.

Making corporations money, duh.
It's not like you can pick your doctor either, have to be in network, etc, etc, unless you're rich enough to afford possibly millions in medical bills
Not mentioning with how hospitals are run now there IS only one doctor per specialty covering 3 county hospitals.
