You seems to be too closed-mind to understand this image. It's about entities like corporations claiming to be "supporters" while they ain't. They don't care about you, they just want your money and being seen as good guys.
In this I agree with you, however I see no representation of a corporation in this image
It's the "i support the current thing" meaning you have to support it even if you don't care to be well seen. Also i took corporations as a example because it's the most visible one.
