Yeah it behaves weirdly on Jerboa, too. Hopefully that gets adressed at some point. Doing a simple c/ or a ! would be pretty cool.

Yeah hopefully. What did you have to do to insert the link? Just add a normal link and copy the URL to the community?
Yeah exactly just inserting a link, giving it a title and and the URL to the community.
Add ! And @instance to the start and end respectively and it should link automatically

Yeah it does so on Friendica (which I'm using). Great to hear you can on Lemmy too
