Enterprise Linux on desktop?

Anyone using enterprise Linux on their desktop such as RHEL, Alma, Rocky, CentOS etc.?

I'm curious if it's easy to use for this purpose or if the older packages are a pain.

It used to be really good back in 2012-2014 but not anymore I think.

nix warnings (rytter.me)

does anyone know what effect these warnings have when installing or running a nix package?

warning: Ignoring setting 'auto-allocate-uids' because experimental feature 'auto-allocate-uids' is not enabled
warning: Ignoring setting 'impure-env' because experimental feature 'configurable-impure-env' is not enabled

I'm using Nix on Fedora.

Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.

Spontaneous astral projection

This night I had an interesting experience.
I have never astral projected before, only lucid dreaming but I am very interested in the topic and wanna try to project some time.

But tonight something interesting happened. I woke up in the night and was half awake and quickly slipped back into sleep. When I was about to sleep I felt myself float out of my body. I remember myself floating around above my couch (where I was sleeping) and when I realized (hey I'm floating around outside my body!) I felt I was pulled back towards my physical body and woke up in sleep paralysis.

The experience isn't very clear in my memory - kinda blurry like a dream. And also my living room was dark with only some things being visible even though the lights were turned on in the physical.
However I don't think it was a dream because normally in dreams, the mind fills in stuff such as differences and other people and here was none of that.

A friendly or hostile universe
@manifestation

I wanted to share this quote by Albert Einstein with you:

“The most important decision we make is whether we believe we live in a friendly or hostile universe.”

I think he is right in what he says here because this is a core believe. If you try to manifest while believing the universe/God is hostile against you, you will be battling and fighting with yourself, but if you believe, that it's a friendly universe, then that will be part of reality and God/the universe will listen to every word you say and execute it immediately, and everything will go fluidly smooth.

Surrender to God, believe in Him, trust Him and He will reward you.

@ComputerSagtNein One thing that could be made a lot easier on Fedi in general is browsing posts on remote instances. I don't understand why there isn't an easier method than going to the remote instances web page, copy pasting URLs etc. It seems very inconvenient

@axo10tl
Indeed. But regardless I think decentralized platforms are the way to go. I wish that we will soon forget about any centralised platform and only use decentralized ones.
