Hmm pour moi rudimentaire veut dire moins poli plutôt qu'inférieur, je ne pense pas que ce soit la même chose ? Ou je suis encore en train de malmener la langue ?
Sorry for speaking English but my French is not enough to speak about this topic. As far as I'm aware, rudimentary means too basic, without enough tools or options. That is what I understood.
Lol. I'm learning so I was struggling for vocab anyway.
It's the "too" I was disagreeing with. I was meaning rudimentary in the sense of "basic; having limitations to options". However limited options isn't necessarily inferior, it's just less polished. Rustic even.
I'm hoping it's not another faux-ami and I'm thinking the English meaning is the same as the French incorrectly
