Why can you join Minecrfat premium servers with cracked bedrock but not with cracked java? (lemmy.zip)

So title, joining premium or even java servers with geysermc from cracked bedrock will work, but why? If you can't join with cracled java why can you with cracked bedrock?

Java version runs flawlessly on Linux and is superior either way.

With the sole exception of playing on a bedrock server. I've looked for Java mods to facilitate this, but only found the reverse (understandably).
