I just want a repairable phone with a headphone jack.
throw in a microSD card slot and I'm sold
The name is silly but the Galaxy XCover 6 pro checks all those boxes as a new phone. It even has the old style notification light, different colors for notifications.
Repairable 100%! Why still wanting a jack? Understood that when phones w/out Jack's were a minority and it was a compatibility issue. With Bluetooth as ubiquitous as it is and the world not built around mini Jack's anymore, why ask for a sub-par onboard DAC? I'm all for options, so not hating on the request, but this is so far down on my priority list that I have a hard time understanding the continued push for this. I'd rather have an fm tuner, rf generator, and ir blaster than mini jack.
To use already owned headphones? To not be forced to buy more expensive ones?
Cheap DAC converters are literally less than $3. Are you also upset about your new dvd player not being able to play your VHS collection?
