He hasn't released on streaming yet or YouTube only insta and Twitter. Once it's up on streaming he said all proceeds will go to The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

This seems sussy. Half this person's posts are slams on Biden and there are comments like this song is "fire".

It is in fact not fire. It's edgy but the composition is lacking soul. It's just a convoluted, non provoking edge piece. I don't find it thought provoking or relatable. It's just a bunch of political references thrown together.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 3 months ago (32 children)

Just your opinion. I thought it was a great summary and relevant message with the recent protests, plus the very public message that he's not voting for Biden over this. If anything I'd call it a bit cheesy, but definitely not edgy. But Macklemore is a little cheesy so it works.

Not voting for Biden when the only other viable option is a fascist seems a bit like edge lord bullshit to me, but idk, maybe I'm out of touch with slang

[–] [email protected] -2 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Oh the fucking centrists have shown up 🥱

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Oh hey grad. It's the ban evading troll.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Am I ... trolling, or am I contributing to the conversation in ways that you personally disagree with. Hmmm.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago (1 children)

This you?

Oh the fucking centrists have shown up 🥱

There's nothing there to really agree or disagree with lemmygrad. It's just juvenile name calling.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (2 children)

"Fucking centrists" isn't name-calling, it's an extremely appropriate labeling of the ideology, spoken with disdain.

And you literally called me "grad"? Which like, is it so hard to believe that leftists just exist and aren't in these random instances you've decided to hate? And even if I was, why would that matter? Like idk much about lemmygrad except apparently there are leftists there and people hate them. It's not insulting just confusing for me and embarrassing for you.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 3 months ago (2 children)

"Fucking centrists" isn't name-calling

It's literally the definition of name calling grad.

And you literally called me "grad"?

Glass houses grad. Glass houses. You come in throwing stones you don't get to whine and pretend to be the victim when someone responds. This is literally what you did last time grad. And is the whole reason I call you grad, grad.

Which like, is it so hard to believe that leftists just exist and aren't in these random instances you've decided to hate?

No not at all. But you only confirm it's what you are by being so upset about it grad. And for the record I don't hate them. I absolutely dislike them. They aren't leftists in any meaningful sense. They are authoritarians. And would destroy the lives of or slaughter those that disagree with them as happily as any capitalist would.

[–] [email protected] -1 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Is "centrist" insulting to you? Why do you align yourself with politics whose very basic descriptor draws out this much vitriol?

Again, I'm not insulted by you calling me grad because I don't really know much about it and only hear about it from pissed off conservative Dems/centrists. Anything they hate is bound to be kinda good lol. What I feel is more like the bemusement/pain you feel watching Michael Scott.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago (3 children)

No. "Centrist" is not insulting to me. Because even as a leftist I can and do regularly work with and discuss things with centrists all the time. They can be as rational and reasonable as anyone else when they're being sincere.

But I think it's very deceptive, insincere and telling how you edited your own statements. Because you didn't just say centrists. What was the word you used before? It wasn't and endearing word. Definitely the sort of word someone would use in a hateful venomous way, oh yeah fucking.

Getting upset being called out over it. And then pretending to be upset or not knowing what it even is doesn't work kiddo. And now you can add the fact that you've been told about it by a social libertarian / Anarchist as well. By again grad.

Wut? Centrists define their politics around triangulating between the two parties, without regard to how one is diving headlong into fascism. I can believe a self-described leftist passionately defending moderate Democrats, but no, centrists are scum basically by definition, because their politics are half-defined by worse scum. It's not about sincerity, it's that they don't even have a functional belief system to convert. The best thing you can do to move a centrist is pull people with an actual ideology left.

American political centris? Unfortunately far too often than not that's true. But that's not necessarily what I was talking about. Politics also exists outside of america. And even then just because someone thinks of themselves as centrist. Doesn't mean that they are a horrible or bad person either. Most times when it comes to people in America they are simply ignorant and don't think much about it. And if you engage with them in good faith you can honestly have some pretty productive discussions. Something you can't get with say Marxist leninists.

Just going to offer you some advice like you did in your other reply. I don't know why you're defending another troll. Whore is a known quantity. Who will not engage in good faith and largely participate in name calling. You should not be defending them or arguing for them. This is the second account of theirs I've blocked at least. And I know they have others but they're waiting to troll on. I just haven't blocked them yet.

[–] [email protected] -2 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Did you reply just to feel better about yourself or for attention? I really don't understand your point. No one said anything to you and yet you seem so offended for something that never even applies to you. Don't take this personally, friend, but that behavior's kind of pathetic, imo

[–] [email protected] 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Your projection is strong I see it. You're the one who's literally added nothing to the conversation. But you're probably just another sock puppet.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago

Ah, the old "no u" argument! Such a classic

[–] [email protected] -3 points 3 months ago

Anyway blocking you bc you're honestly just like, harassing me at this point? You're just mad I exist? Weird

[–] [email protected] -4 points 3 months ago

lmao you're mad I said "fuck" okay

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

The online left is all sockpuppets and indoctrinated children, they should be ignored. But they're also the critical votes that cause Democrats to lose elections. But we should under no circumstances try to do anything to please them, that would be worse than losing.
