I'm trying to create a bodice block/sloper. I feel bad going through so much calico but I know it will save time and fabric in the long run.

Nothing at the moment, but when I have money for the fabric I'm going to sew some curtains for my bedroom.

How are you making the bodice block? I've tried my hand at making one but I always end up making tons of alterations when I try to re-use it.

I'm altering a bought pattern for a sheath dress (butterick 6849). Its very slow going since I haven't done anything like this before but I'm getting there.
