That's wild, what were they thinking serving fucking roadkill to unsuspecting guests lol

Most people think of roadkill as picking up a half rotten corpse and just throwing it in the oven.

The reality is if the animal gets hit and you grab the corpse immediately it's no different than hunting except instead of a gun you used your car.

Unless you pop the stomach or the intestines all the meat should be fine as long as it's properly processed.

Source: Ohio literally has waiting lists for roadkill collection. If someone hits a deer or something like that they can call their local authorities to come collect the corpse and they'll call whoever's at the top of the list to pick it up and take it home.
