I disagree. Change is violent and sudden. Often bloody. What you are experiencing is the decay of capitalism. Neoliberalism becomes fascism.

Change is constant. Sometimes it's violent and sudden, but most times it's subtle and gradual. If we were talking about something that needed a drastic change, yeah I might agree that this it might most likely come about via violence. But really were talking about how we select our representatives. Not some massively different system.

We do need drastic change. Right now your choices are genocide and climate apocalypse VS genocide and climate apocalypse. The people didn't get a choice.

So what system do we put in place that solves these issuea?

You want to drastically change the system, but thinking about what that means is not part of it? Lol holy shit.

Yeah man. Humanity is disgusting. Personally I don't care for them, but I'm sure you can agree a socialist utopia would be great for human lovers.

"We see the world, not as it is, but as we are"

70% of all species have been driven to extinction in the 250,000 years we've existed. How many of them megafauna before we even invented language?

Humans drive 150 different species extinct a day, and we're just gearing up for the great climate collapse.

Put aside your human exceptionalism. If we found an organism that obliterates the natural world at such a pace, we'd do everything in our power to eradicate it.

Hopefully we delete ourselves before we spread to other planets.

Put aside your human exceptionalism

I've made no such claim. I've only pointed out that if you look around and everyone sucks, you're revealing more about yourself than you are accurately describing humanity. In your case, it's very obvious even without that.

The people in my life are wonderful. Humanity is a disease.

Have a nice day.
