We literally have this meme about how we wish our left-wing party was replaced by Dannish left-wing party.

It goes like this:

"Duńska lewica jest antyimigrancka i dzięki temu wygrała 3 wybory z rzędu cały czas ciesząc się ogromną popularnością i poparciem"

how can you just decide they arent "really left wing anymore?" like because you dont like their politics?

Because their policies are centrist rather than left-wing.

Left wing isn’t exactly known for tax cuts, anti immigration policies and many more things. It’s pretty clear that their policies have changed over the past 20+ years.

They did raise taxes about 58 times the last couple of years, so i think they are good for making one cut.

Let me rephrase: tax cuts for the upper/upper middle class. Granted it’s tax cuts decided together with the right wing, but still part of their policy.

Also it’s just an example of what makes them less leftist than they were before. There’s many more reasons that I did not mention

Yeah, A really aren't left wing and have never been so in my life time. They've been center left and making moves towards the right from that for many years.

The left/right wing refers to the placement around parliament. Of course a 1D projection of "all politics" is a gross simplification, but nevertheless the point is that it's all relative. S is left wing if they are left of the center, simple as that. So you can't say they aren't left wing because of their politics, you have to argue their relative position in politics to say they aren't left wing. And that hasn't really changed - everyone short of Ø and SF are still to the right of them.

No, you really don't have to do that. You can absolutely define it in terms of their policy changes. There is nothing wrong in comparing their current politics to their historic stances and conclude whether they are or are moving more left or right.

anti immigration

That's a recent change for "left wing" parties in Europe. "Left wing" parties used to be more anti-immigrant, which is actually a more logical position. It's market liberals who want more immigration for obvious reasons.

Well socialist (left wing) ideology has traditionally been internationalist and anti-nationalistic, anti ethnocentric etc

Yes, but as far as I know, socialist/social-democratic parties across Europe still kept very tight border controls for most of their history, before opening up in the 80s.
