We literally have this meme about how we wish our left-wing party was replaced by Dannish left-wing party.

It goes like this:

"Duńska lewica jest antyimigrancka i dzięki temu wygrała 3 wybory z rzędu cały czas ciesząc się ogromną popularnością i poparciem"

didnt the two parties who has been battling each other for 100 years just form a government together?

I've never seen a softer line across the isle than right now..

I think the hard line referred to the stance of all the parties regarding immigration policies.

They did and the social democrats is definitely winning the combination. Venstre split in 3 and is much smaller than it used to be

this is only true if you view succes as going up in the polls. Venstre got a LOT more of their policy through than they would have got as an opposition to a Social demokratiet government suported by the left. People seem to forgot that the right wing lost the election and yet here we are getting tax cutoffs payed for by worsening the wellfare, not in general left wing policy if you ask me.

The Venstre split happened before the election so that is not due to them going into the government but yes the polls went downhill a lot since the election.

Very true, but 2/3 of "old venstre" is still in the government with their old arch enemy, which just seems so odd and weird.

I'm starting to think Ellemann the younger wasn't the greatest for that party but who knows...

I think they meant that there is a hard line when it comes to immigration across the isle, meaning both left and right.

It's "aisle" like a passageway/hallway in a store. "Isle" refers to a small island.
