So we're visiting Denmark this summer and I've been researching what places are fun to visit with kids. We're staying near Hjørring, so that's pretty north.

I already wrote down the north sea aquarium and Råbjerg Mile. I'm hoping for something viking related as well? And what else? Anyone have any ideas for me?

For Viking related stuff go to Lindholm Høje north of Aalborg (google it) or maybe go visit Aggersborg - perhaps Fyrkat if you’re comfortable with a bit of a drive. If you like to just imagine seeing stuff there’s a Viking Age shipyard in Rold Skov (buried, obviously).

However, northern Jutland isn’t exactly Viking Country anymore.
