Two Sentence Horror

When the lanterns blinked out, the woman in the shadows rose, and as she turned, Emma saw her own face staring back, grinning wide and empty.

But as she looked up into his beautiful kind eyes, she knew she’d still have to burn him alive and watch his house collapse into flames, just like all the others hiding in plain sight.

His screen glowed, his own terrified face staring back as a bloody hand—his own damned hand—reached out, and yanked him into the black void beyond madness and beyond the screen.

But nobody knew the serial killer was there, with a real chainsaw posing as a scare actor.

Only too late would we discover what would become of our children.
