Yes, it’s a horrible, doodoo card. It’s better to either wait for the 5070ti or be a mega whale and get the 5090. Ignore the 5080. (Please, i want that 5080. I need more ‘bad’ news to give me a better chance on day one)

I heard that by the end of the year windows is going to stop updating windows 10 in favour of windows 11, I keep using windows 10 in my PC because my PC doesn't meet the requirements to update to windows 11 and because I heard windows 11 is not that great. Having said all that how dangerous will it get for my pc once they stop updating windows 10? Or would it be wiser to start considering upgrading my CPU or whatever I need to change to have windows 11?

Okay, so I posted to this sub a day ago, and a question popped up into my head as I was thinking about DLSS 4. Now, commonly, we see some people praising FSR for being usable on all GPU’s, and DLSS is put down for being locked behind paywalls (newer NVIDIA products) such as the frame generation which gained a lot of controversy on it’s debut on the 40-Series.

However, with the upcoming FSR 4 going to the same AI route as DLSS, what will this do for gamer’s perception on FSR? Will they dislike it the same way as they do DLSS? Presumably, FSR 4 is going to have to have some hardware acceleration locked to a newer class of their products.

Curious to see other’s opinions!

Seriously guys, why do people get so defensive, borderline angery, when you point out a flaw with their dear brand?

Wether is it an overpriced product, a possible scam, a flawed GPU (cracking PCB, poor thermals etc..) it seems there are always people who will rush to defend their favourite brand.

Do they get medals from Nvidia, do they get a monetary reward from Intel, or maybe they get a free 9800 x3d from AMD?

I don't believe a GPU is something that is defining one's personality, the moment someone thinks it isn't good enough, it is one's duty to protect its honour.

I have no brand loyalty, nor favouritism. I gladly move from Nvidia to AMD, or from MSI to Asus or whomever else if I believe what they offer is better, and suits my needs.

Hello I have a intel i9 12900h with a 4060 I can barley used the gaming laptop with out the charger with the graphics looking terrible would amd do better with that than intel I did previously had a i7 11800h with 3070 and it performed way better than the i9 what I can remember

So DLSS transformer model was released yesterday for cyberpunk 2077 alongside the rtx 5090, and i got to see how it performes in my 3090. It is absolutely horrible.

This is 1440p dlss performance mode path tracing with the performance path tracing optimization mod. RTX 3090 + ryzen 5700x3d. the new Transformer model consistently delivers -20/25% performance. It's very strange because some things like the ray reconstruction are mildly better with transformer, but there are new added artifacts in exchange.
