As the title says, I have a dead bug inside my monitor. It was alive once, and I even got it to move in my desired direction. Then my father joined me in my quest for the liberation of the bug. Except he did not want the bug to live. He squashed it inside of my monitor, and now it's corpse stays in between the glass and the screen, haunting me, mocking me for my sinful past, and reminding me I will burn in the fiery pits for denying him salvation. Is there any way to get it out without possibly dissasembling the monitor?

Hello,

-I've been using this PC for almost 6 years. I've had no modifications to it since then, except changing thermal paste couple years ago. And a new UPS more than a year ago. It's been working fine(gaming/work/etc).

-Yesterday i was just normally using PC, editing a post on discord while downloading a mod in the background when my PC froze. Had to shut it down.

-After i powered it, it would start for a couple of seconds and turn off and repeat this cycle until i turned the PSU off.

-Also during this i noticed the EZ debug lights on the motherboard, they would cycle between CPU and DRAM and glow white. The glow would be slightly longer on DRAM.

-After this i reseted bios with the jumper cap. After powering it back up it would not turn off like before, but the EZ debug lights would keep blinking the same way.

-After that i removed the GPU and moved the ram sticks from A2/B2 to A1/B1 it didnt work, same thing like before.

-After that i removed the 2nd ram stick and it booted up. Later it also booted up with the 1st stick in another slot.

-After that i removed the 1st ram stick and tried the 2nd ram stick in the same slot, it wouldnt boot, same thing like before. I tried changing the slot to A2,B1,B2 all didnt work.

-I've also ran the memory diagnostic for the 1st ram stick and it went fine.

Is my 2nd ram stick faulty? Is it normal for a stick to just die/brick like that? Or can it be something else? Do i just have to get a new set of ram? Can i test/check something else?

CPU: i5-9600k (bios auto oc)

COOLER: dark rock pro 4

RAM: corsair vengeance 3200 16gb 2x8 DDR4 (had xmp on before)

MOBO: MSI z390 A PRO

GPU: rtx 2060 (msi afterburner oc)

PSU: fortron fsp hydro g 750

SSD: Samsung EVO 850 500gb

CASE: cooler master mastercase h500

UPS: APC Easy UPS BVX1600LI-GR (900W)

So as the title says I’m having with my controller disconnecting which is driving me crazy mid boss right in Wukong. It’s a bit random when but I guess around 30 minutes in my controller will disconnect and won’t reconnect. The controller is receiving power but the Xbox logo will just keep flashing. Come the next day the controller will connect fine but sure enough the same thing will happen. Currently using a USB C cable but I’ve tried a different cable aswel so USB to USB c.

Any help would be appreciated

I am looking to buy a new pre-built PC. I plan to give this one to my son. Budget is sub $2000 USD. Here is my current computer. I am of course, looking for something better.

There is this trend after the 50 series announcement that people who are fed up with badly optimized games, blame features like dlss and framegen for it.

So what is the solution? Make bad GPUs so Devs are forced to optimise and use workarounds like the old days?

The whole dlss suite (and other companies' equivalents) is a great tool when used correctly and bashing it because of Devs not optimising their games( for a plethora of other reasons such as deadlines, shareholder expectations etc) is in all honesty . For better or for worse Nvidia has no competition at the top in the GPU space. They have no real reason to make huge advancements on hardware side. No one can compete with their top of the line GPUs especially when they are accompanied but the best feature set of any competitor.

What they do is invest in technologies that improve the user experience and of course that is going to translate in a more expensive product.

I understand the uproar about the 5070=4090 thing. Nvidia understood it too, that's why they slowly released the benchmarks they did. But if I can play a game like cyberpunk at 1440p at 240 FPS using 220w at a price point that is kind of affordable( 550 for a GPU is still a lot of money especially in countries outside the US where it's more expensive) , then I will take that everyday.

I like the dlss suite and I think it's one of the best things to have happened in the gaming space. I have a 4070 super and just got a huge free upgrade. I play god of war Ragnarok with lossless scaling at X3 and get 240 FPS. ( New dlss and frame gen give me around 200 too). And all that with a undervolt that runs the GPU at 150w. It's a great technology and I can't wait to see where it goes.
