I'm planing to sell my PC to a friend(I wanted to give it away but he didn't want to take it for nothing).

I need your help evaluating a price, one that you would sell to a stranger (but I would lower it at least by half for him).

I'm in Europe, and I bought the PC 2 years ago, I did not use it for mining or OC the CPU. So it should still be considered "healthy".

The specs are : RTX 3070

Intel I-7 12700K

32 GB RAM (installed about a month ago)

2x 1TB SSD , 1x 1TB HDD

750W power supply (not chinese lol)

As I said, I wanted to give it to him for free but he said it was too much, he wants a fair price, and I have been told it is worth about 1k Euro, but I think that is a bit too much.

Please help me so I don't fuck over my friend , thanks :)

I had my PC built last April 2024, everything was working perfectly till last Dec 31, 2024. All of a sudden my CPU started to overheat, the CPU temp was going all the way up to 106 cº when I would just open Discord or a Google tab, and if I'm not doing anything the temp is constantly at 70 - 85.

A few times my PC would already shut itself down due to overheating, but the AIO Cooler lights would remain on, does this mean that the motherboard is recognizing a problem with the Cooler? I'm worried that the motherboard CPU fan connector might be the problem, is there a way to tell whether it's the AIO cooler itself or the motherboard?

I lifted up the cooler to check the thermal paste and it doesn't even look that dry—and as you can see the CPU Fan RPM is at 0 for some reason.

Kindly let me know your thoughts.

Hello guys! I have once in my lifetime needed to buy fans for my pc case and now im building my second pc. The case doesnt have fans, are 120mm fans the ones that fit with 150mm bolt pattern? I cant find information anywhere. And im sorry if this is hard to read, English is not my first language.

Ok so I have no fricking idea how this happened, but my PC went into Automatic Repair Mode in the middle of gaming and it wouldn’t boot at all.

I’ve tried everything I could to fix it, even copying and re-setting the Boot Files to another Hard Drive but it won’t work, now I don’t know how badly I fucked it but - When I try to boot up it gives me

“disk boot failure insert system disk and press enter how to fix”

I can’t even enter BIOS to reroute anything and now I’m officially screwed. PLS HELP

Afternoon everyone! I was trying to upgrade my fiancé’s PC, and I think I screwed up pretty majorly haha The computer will not display, but will turn on and I think all it needs is a bios update, problem is the old CPU has a bent pin, and the computer won’t even turn on with that installed. There is also an orange light on the mobo, but I cannot figure out what that means, picture attached. Is there any other ideas that may help? Thank you!

When trying to get into safe mode it says it has issues with my pin, I tried removing pin in windows settings, accounts, remove this sign-in option but it is greyed out, I tried finding HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\PasswordLess\Device to delete the pin but I don't have a Windows NT folder in microsoft, I need to use Display driver uninstaller but can't get into safe mode, can anyone help? I am running the latest version of windows as of 1/1/2025. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The only thing showing up is "d-sub no signal entering the power saving mode shortly". So the blue d-sub(?) cabel is connected to the PC and to the monitor and I don't know what to do. I don't know anything about computers and it's been like this ever since I got it. I don't have another monitor to test it so what do I do.

I've been fighting this issue for months with troubleshooting and trying fixes that I thought would work, but it still happens and changed behaviors. It started after a big update on a game called War Thunder where I got a small stutter in gameplay and told me a driver timeout has occurred, and this happens like every 10-15 minutes. I'm like ok and started lowering my setting to better run, it happens, tried reinstalling the game, doesn't work, tried playing other games seeing if they had issues, they work fine, knowing the game, its code probably sucked and my gpu didn't like it. Looked at forums, found force closing discord helps, it "works" but somehow instead of it happening in gameplay it does it in lobby, the game doesn't crash, just stutters a bit and acts like all is good. I did clean the driver install on an update for my gpu, didn't work, and was looking for fixes until another driver update appeared, clean install and didn't work. But that's when it started affecting other games. I had a crash in Arma telling me "dxgi_error_device_removed Reason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG." I then had another crash in Squad so I looked into it. There was a fix where adding a TdrDdiDelay in the registry would help, it did but all games freeze and they do unfreeze after a minute but it still happening a lot I would like some help on to fix this before I go insane and throw this computer out the window ignoring the fact it's a 5000 dollar pc.

Side notes that may or may not be useful: All games affected besides war thunder last a couple hours before freezing/crashing usually happens when spawning back into the match.

War thunder happens every ~10 minutes regardless of what's going on

I have 7900gre gpu connected on a riser cable to my msi b650i motherboard

It only crashes on games, and software like blender, obs, and librewolf aren't affected.

Games in 4k, but I am not using frame generation or FSR

Anymore information you would like I would be willing to provide to the best of my knowledge.

Hi guys, just a quick question about gaming with controllers

I currently have a ps4 controller i use for som pc games (Dark Souls games, ect.) and it still works really nicely for me, but with the preorder for the DualSense Helldivers 2 controller i was wondering if its worth it to upgrade from a ps4 controller to a ps5 controller.
