This is regarding pretty much just him being CEO of a bigger company than he could handle. It seems like he knew for a while things had gotten too big, based on his statement about trying to get a new CEO (T) for a while, but he was always in other companies.

So would you have waited till the one CEO you think are perfect is available and just halt Groth meanwhile ?

Find someone you are not feeling too good about ?

Or doing like Linus did and keep pushing and hoping for the best ?

Honestly it seems like 3 would be what most people would go with, why halth growth or get a person you don't fully trust to run your company?

Hello everyone, I wanted you guys' opinions on whether I should get the 4080 with a ram and cpu upgrade (Intel 14th gen) or just the 4090. (It's a money issue: i live in India where the cheapest 4080 gigabyte eagle oc costs 1200 USD and the cheapest 4090 colorful costs 1800 USD. I understand that the cpu upgrades will cost more than the 600 usd diff but it helps. I'm trying to minimise spending.)

My current system: R7 5800x Rtx 3080 32gb 3200mhz cl16 ram Monitor LG OLED 1440p

I want to revisit cyberpunk in all its RT overdrive glory when the new expansion hits.

Personally I think all the changes that are being made at LTT in the week they have without uploading will be amazing to see. I have always loved the video’s but have seen a dip in quality happening lately. With the team having more time to work on videos they will be better and I can’t wait to see them.

For me personally I have also never been influenced by an LTT video regarding a purchasing decision because I do my own research before buying anything. For me the videos are entertainment, so the controversy about mistakes in data is a bit much for me personally although I do see that this is important in an integrity aspact. And better videos made with more time will be more entertaining. So everyone wins in the end.

Spicy Take: You've got to be an IDIOT to make a business in front of a camera. I love the content related to how the business works, heck its the reason a lot of us watch WAN show.

Being a media personality, and having half your company show up in front of a camera (or even giving them a platform) is just.... insane. I came to this realization as we were talking about the Madison incident with some friends at work, and realize we've ALL worked at a place where at some point, allegations had been made about a coworker (true or not, verifiable or not) and we realized that for 99.9% of business, thats a normal part of hiring people - sometimes you get a SHIT person (on either side of the complaint).

What you never see however as a patron of that business, is how they deal with HR issues - because its none of your business. They might be selling you car parts and employ an actual registered sex offender. The girl handling coffee may have reported 154 inappropriate conversations last year. But, as I'm just a patron of that business, I have no right to know what goes on there.

Having a media company thats so open and awesome about their behind the scenes workings and goings on is just leaving themselves open to things that we (as a consumer) really don't have a right to know.

The video

I know this is a joke, but it was also two months ago. What a bit of foreshadowing.

Steve's laugh... like he knows the shit he's about to throw down... priceless.

Now, there's something I've been wondering, based on some publically available data about how Linus Media Group has almost doubled in size in the past 2 years, with only a couple of staff leaving to do other things.

Not to downplay the issues or problems at LMG, but how is it, as a company that is claimed to caused a lot of overworking for their staff, they're still able to retain a majority of their staff, and expand so greatly in just 2 years?

Again, I'm merely asking a question, for those who are possibly in the know.
