Imagine spending tens of millions of dollars in an attempt to position yourself as an authority in technology review, bench-marking, and testing, and then this happens. This whole situation calls into question the integrity of the whole Labs operation and any information coming out of LMG. What a weird way to save a few dollars. I don't understand it. Must be 4D chess. I'm pretty dumb.

** DISCLAIMER : I am not affiliated with LMG/LTT at all, just a long time viewer

Giving away a black/orange/silver shaft stubby! Story is I made a merch haul at end of my first/only day at LTX. Went home but never checked the screwdriver. Turned out to be the wrong color than the one I wanted at the merch booth.

Contacted lttstore support and they sent me the colorway I wanted without asking for this one back. Figured I don’t need 2 so giving this one away. Say what you will about the lttstore video plugs, their customer support is A++

DETAILS: (feel free to voice any concerns about fairness, first time doing giveaway)

WHO: Since I’ll be covering shipping, only US/CAN users are eligible.

WHEN: I will pick a winner on 08/30/23 at 6PM PST. Will update post and DM winner

HOW: To enter, just leave a comment and maybe make it your hottest tech take. (edit: preferably not recent drama related haha 😅 let’s keep this fun)

WHAT: LTT Stubby in black/orange accents with silver shaft. Original box and paperwork. Included original bits.

I’ll be using something like commentpicker.com to select the winner.

Good luck! and plz don’t sue me Linus

Like Steve's video is about calling out inaccuracies and how LTT should do better. I strongly believed that they have the moral high ground here, but after watching Dr. Cutress' breakdown, it really feels the total opposite.

Steve presented Gary Key as a marketing person, which is true, but the big element was not mentioned that he is a major expert in motherboard review. That is a really big fucking deal, there's no way they were not aware of it. They decided that not to say that information about him, which is not incorrect however it feels highly dishonest.

The mouse video -which did not occur to me- they really used a small segment of a video. But the not advised result can come from other elements too. Yeah there was a mistake with the plastic, but the whole video wasn't about that.

It was mentioned that LTT has a method in youtube to fix parts of videos that others don't have. It's not their fault that others don't have the option. GN did it with Principled Technologies, NewEgg, and even with Artesian builds. But now they did not do the same thing towards LTT, and claim that it is the right way to do it. This really does feel dishonest.

I also strongly believed that part of they did not contact LTT before hand, and I tought Linus is out of his mind for saying that is not cool. And thinking it trough, that would not have changed the outcome, it would have given them a fair chance to comment.

And more crutually the breakdown of sentencing and evidence usage in Steve's video analysed by Dr. Cutress is really eye opening. It really does feel like now that there's a jelausness in the background and that is the offense.

Ensure once you've made it through half the video and skimmed the comments, come here and post a wall of text detailing your opinions.

It's essential everyone posts so the subreddit is flooded with low-quality discussion posts parroting either the positive opinion or the negative opinion even though you think your take is the right take.
