Renowned University of Chicago Professor of Political Science John Mearsheimer has given a “gloomy” analysis about Israel’s standing, saying that the Middle Eastern nation’s problems are “deep, unfixable” and getting worse.

Mearsheimer made his comment during an interview with Judge Napolitano, saying that ten months into its ruthless war against the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, the Israeli army is worn out, yet it has not defeated Palestinian resistance fighters in Hamas. “Israel is stuck in Gaza,” said the professor. It’s a hornet’s nest from which it had to leave in 2005, he pointed out, adding that Israel simply cannot comprehend that the catastrophic destruction and unresolved problems it has caused in Gaza lie on its border, and also has no hope of defeating Hezbollah in Lebanon or Iran.

Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz is touted as a progressive, but when it comes to issues of free speech, he’s every bit as reactionary as the rest of the censorship-crazed members of his party. In discussing online censorship, Walz has adopted a position that “free speech” can be severely limited to curtail “misinformation” and “hate speech.”

Jimmy lights into Walz for believing the government and social media companies should be allowed to limit citizens’ speech based on whatever they choose to define as misinformation.

Before entering Congress, Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz served in the National Guard for 25 years. But just a few months before his unit was called up to be deployed to Iraq, Walz resigned from the guard. Since his rise to prominence, critics have pointed to this circumstance, as well as his exaggerations about the rank he retired under, to suggest Walz is guilty of so-called “stolen valor.”

Belief in the idyllic qualities of capitalism may be the closest thing to a national religion we have in the United States. Extolling the virtues of the free market is a near prerequisite for any political figure to win public office. Yet the flaws of American-style capitalism are evident to anyone willing to merely look around — considering issues like homelessness, overwork, income inequality, environmental destruction, social isolation, empty consumerism, and many others.

Jimmy speaks with economics professor Richard Wolff about the boom and bust cycle of capitalism and how worker coops point the way to emerging from all these social ills wrought by the existing system.

On Wednesday several Federal Bureau of Investigation agents searched the Delmar, New York home of former United Nations weapons inspector Scott Ritter. Boxes of materials were removed as part of the raid, while Ritter’s vehicles were searched. The FBI said the raid was part of an ongoing federal investigation.

Ritter has caught the ire of the intelligence community through his vehement opposition to U.S. support for Ukraine in the war against Russia as well as Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian population of Gaza.

As President, Donald Trump openly admitted that US troops were occupying a third of Syria just to secure the oil. That has been the status quo throughout the Biden administration, but now Syrians are beginning to fight back, with Syrian forces recently liberating occupied towns and surrounding a major oil field.

Jimmy discusses the inarguable truth about the U.S.’s plans for Syria and what we’re doing there, even though the majority of Americans have no idea we’re even there.

We’ve all heard the terrifying tales of living under oppressive regimes like in China and Russia where you can be permanently disappeared if you say anything that offends the government. Except did you know that the very same thing has begun happening in the West, with nations like the UK imprisoning individuals over offending social media posts?

Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss the increasingly oppressive thought police coming to the West as well as recent riots in England.

On Monday the Dow Jones Industrial Average and NASDAQ both nosedived, recording substantial losses totaling trillions of dollars. Other economic indicators remain poor as well, and despite what alleged efforts the Fed may take, the signs of a coming recession are impossible to ignore. One individual who anticipated the crash was billionaire investor Warren Buffett, who unloaded a substantial amount of his Apple stock holdings just before the crash.

Jimmy talks to Economics Professor Richard Wolff about how investors like Buffett help drive crashes, and why crashes like this are typical for a capitalist system and should be expected to happen every 4-7 years.

The mainstream media have long objected to Joe Rogan, primarily a case of jealousy over his audience size as their ratings collapse. The most recent episode demonstrating their enmity toward Rogan? MSNBC posting a TikTok video compilation of Rogan heaping praise on Kamala Harris, except the footage had been deceptively edited because the Spotify host was actually saying all those positive things about Tulsi Gabbard, not Kamala Harris.

Tulsi called out MSNBC for this bit of fake news, and Rogan is reportedly considering a $30 million lawsuit against the cable network.

Among the myriad social media platforms some are perceived as particularly unfriendly to free speech — like Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, while others proudly tout their free speech credentials. X/Twitter and Rumble tend to fit in the latter category. But as investigative journalist and author Whitney Webb notes, all these platforms make their bones by scooping up user data, regardless where they stand on the censorship question.

Jimmy talks to Whitney about the pernicious practice of data collection and whether it’s possible for individuals to reclaim their personal information from the social media blobosphere.

MMA fighter Jake Shields and political commentator Jackson Hinkle have both found themselves running afoul of the censors at Twitter, who have demonetized the two over their posted messages about the conflict in Gaza. Shields has learned, in fact, that he was “ghost banned” following a meeting of Twitter executives during which they discussed ways to reduce both Shields and Hinkle’s prominence on the site.

Jimmy and his co-hosting duo of The Convo Couch’s Craig Jardula and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger talk to Hinkle and Shields about why Elon Musk’s free speech platform would seek to shield Twitter users from their perspectives.

I caught a TON of grief for pointing out how @BernieSanders betrayed his own supporters & intentionally buried his own movement. It took a while for most of his supporters to wake up & face facts about him, but it appears to have finally happened.

There is no organized “Left” in America.

@SocialistMMA

Bernie Sanders and Ilhan Omar is live streaming only to 200 viewers

Bernie used to pack stadiums. His livestreams used to be thousands of people watching

The downfall of the Bernie movement will be studied by the left for years.

Elon Musk loves free speech so much he bought Twitter just to make sure everyone has a voice that won’t be censored, including him. But he also instituted the “Community Notes” program, which allows other users to fact-check one another on the platform, and lo and behold, one of the users getting “Community Noted” the most is Musk, in particular about his frequent posting of misinformation about Venezuela.

Jimmy and popular online commentator Ian Carroll discuss Musk’s weird obsession with Venezuela and why he persists in spreading inaccuracies about the country, its recent elections and Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

We’re definitely living through this right now. It’s not only all things Covid, but all things related to War & government in general.

@JamesMelville

This quote from Carl Sagan feels very apt right now.

[Image showing Carl Sagan, with a quote of his, description below]

“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.” ― Carl Sagan, The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark

If you find yourself having an opinion about the outcome of the Venezuelan election it’s because you’ve been propagandized to have that opinion by the usual Economic Hitmen who tried to overthrow Venezuela government before so they could steal their oil.

If you want to be deprogrammed from your brain washing by Economic Hitmen & their paid liars in the corporate media, watch this:

@BTnewsroom

Here's what the media isn't telling you about the Venezuelan election:

Gavin Newsom has given the go-ahead for municipalities to clear homeless encampments, and the sweeps are now underway in California cities. One news organization captured a video of cops grabbing homeless individuals’ belongings — the homeless were apparently not given any notice, which had previously been the operating procedure.

Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss the ongoing homelessness crisis in California and the rest of the nation, and why the solution shouldn’t be rousting homeless people and grabbing up their belongings.

Former Harvard psychology professor and current director of the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology (AIBRT) Dr. Robert Epstein joined The Jimmy Dore Show to discuss his investigations into electoral manipulation by Google and other tech giants. He claims that Google’s underhanded machinations directed 6 million extra votes to Joe Biden in 2000

Jimmy, along with guests Craig “Pasta” Jardula and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger, talk to Dr. Epstein about his remarkable research and just how much duplicity is coming out of the company that long ago abandoned the “Don’t be evil” motto.

Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh, who has been breaking stories for nearly 60 years, recently reported that after the presidential debate, with the support of Barack Obama, Kamala Harris and the rest of the White House staff were prepared to invoke the 25th amendment to have Joe Biden forcibly removed from office. If true this would represent a real bombshell and give greater insight into why Biden was willing to step down after weeks of insisting he was staying in the race.

Jimmy discusses the media’s complicity in looking the other way at Biden’s clear mental decline and how Obama wields power in the Democratic Party behind the scenes in service of ultrarich donors.

Controversy is swirling over the recent Venezuelan elections — specifically the announcement the President Nicolas Maduro has won another term despite terrible economic conditions, a united opposition and crippling sanctions imposed by the United States. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken addressed the election results, expressed concern that they may be fraudulent and vaguely implied that the United States may “take action” if it’s determined that Maduro didn’t actually win.

Jimmy explains how propagandized Americans must be to think they need to care adamantly about whether Venezuela’s elections are fair.

Far too many Americans mistakenly believe that Democrats are a leftist party, and that the likes of Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are ultra-leftists. But Democrats are actually a pro-war, anti-worker, anti-Medicare for all party and in Europe and the rest of the world would be considered center-right.

Jimmy and Revolutionary Blackout Network host Nick Cruse discuss the woeful state of the left in the United States.
