Unsubbed from Roots & Refuge today due to the far-right garbage that's been present on their channel lately. I've tolerated the religious content, but she's been talking about Joe Rogan and "natural immunity" for Covid lately, plus other far right dog whistles... so I decided that no matter how much I used to love her content, that's just too far for me.

I already watch self-sufficient me, Epic Gardening, Garden Answer, Sweet Life of Zach and Christy... but I watch a lot of gardening YouTube as a background for when I am working, and I'd like to find more channels that don't peddle republican trash. Thanks much!

Hey all.

Hoping this is the right place to get advice on trimming my saplings before the Ontario fall. I got them in the ground last year after buying them from a farmer who's goats had gotten to them. So they have some wonk.

My sugar maple is about 3 ft and my rowan is about 2ft.

I've cut some of some wet shoots. And tied a steak to the rowan after cutting out another main stem. Both trees have had some trouble with Japanese green beetles. I'm conflicted with what else to cut... I know the idea is to prioritize a main stem but I'm not sure how to choose those at this stage.

Hey all, I'd like to grow some garlic at home in containers.

Problem is I live near Phoenix, Arizona USA so it's quite hot outside most of the year.

Anyone have experience want to share some tips? I noticed some garlic bulbs starting to sprout in my fridge and thought I might be able to start some indoors from that.
