Love After World Domination is a series that went largely unnoticed by many, both in Japan and abroad. However, I certainly enjoyed the hell out of it. The basic premise is that the Red Ranger falls in love with one of the generals from the evil organization they are fighting against. So, they try to have a relationship while keeping it a secret from their respective organizations.

The whole concept of a forbidden love like this has been done countless times. Pretty sure it was old by the time Shakespeare wrote Romeo and Juliet. However, this series managed to keep things fresh through the super sentai setting and an impressive range of supporting characters. Some of my favorite moments are when we get to see how these organizations function. The evil organization is hilariously dysfunctional in particular.

This series has great romance (even more than one couple!) and genuinely funny moments. Well worth a watch if you completely skipped it by like many others did.
