BOTW and TOTK error - every other games is working

Please help me with this! When I try to start this 2 game it gives me an error "the software was closed because an error occurred".

I have an Oled Switch with modchip and every game what I tried works, except the Botw and Totk.

Newest atmosphere, newest sw, newest sigpatches. I tried to start maintenance mode and restart, delete the games, the saves, the orphaned files in dbi.

I tried to install it through tinfoil shop and through dbi (everything was green).

I don't know what is the problem and what to do :(

Edit: A couple times I've said eBook while I actually meant Audiobook. I've learned that Spotify has a 15 hour limit per month for their free 'included in premium' audiobooks. However these are the two books I listened to for free, and even rounding up to 13 hours it doesn't make sense, unless they count accidental chapter skips which weren't actually listened to. But it's clear now that I know about the 15 hour limit, that they are not counting the time listening to paid audiobooks.

First book I listened to for free:

Second book I listened to for free:

OG post:

I purchased 3 eBooks in the Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy series (2 came free) and I'm on the final book. 20 minutes left in the last book and this is what Spotify tells me.

I'm over the edge now. I've been putting it off too long. I have a nice NUC I purchased about a year ago.

I'm tech inclined, 20 years of hobbyism, know the linux command line well. Work in IT consulting. But I'm busy. Very busy, and unmotivated to do things like hours of research and toying with settings getting things to work, if I ever have the time.

But this is the start of my new personal revolution.

I'll read the wiki and have read about Sonarr, etc, and I also want movies and shows, but is there anything specifically for eBooks? Looks like Readarr is my best bet? Stripping the DRM of already purchased (and free with Spotify 'Premium') books to share on a seedbox is also something I'm willing to take requests on. Is there a way to rip from Spotify if you have a premium account? And what's the best Android eBook reader (the last 3-4 I tried sucked with pirated eBooks)?

I know I'm sounding like a noob asking everything to be handed to me right now, but I am willing to put in the research and welcome and highly appreciate anyone with tips to point me in the right directions.

For someone who wants to maintain a library of movies, I see the first two links in movies megathread total to 34TB worth of content.

What type of storage solutions do you folks use or recommend for large movie collections like this?

Do you have server racks? Which ones would you recommend?

In general, I'd appreciate recommendations for it, but a third party youtube app would be great.

I just installed jellyfin via a one line docker install which worked great.

Edit: Tizen OS is horrible. The whole OS is one huge ad.

The settings are spread across everywhere.

It has multiple different views for apps and recommendations and movies. Everything is mixed together into one giant swamp in one view.

What's best practice to safely play pirated games on Linux? Looking to mitigate potentially malicious executables from wrecking havoc on my system.

A playlist where anyone can join and listen whether it is Android or IOS, or from Windows, Linux etc. It has to have collaborativr option so other can add too?

So I recently set up a home media server and was planning on setting up remote access using Tailscale which doesn't work very well with VPN's from what I have read.

I don't want to download things exposing my IP address so was thinking about picking up a Raspberry PI and running Radarr & Sonarr, then setting the PI to auto transfer to my server every 24 hours with any new files.

I've never used a Raspberry Pi before so wasn't sure if the Zero would be powerful enough to do this. It'd literally just be used to connect to a VPN, Download and transfer files on my network.

Would the Pi Zero be suitable or is there a better Pi for this use case?

Hi all,

My friend and I are currently experiencing problems with the torrentio lite addon for stremio. When selecting an episode the addon stalls, showing the message "torrentio lite addon is still loading".

Anyone else experience this?

it says "Remember that it's not possible to play films on GNU/Linux, but only on other compatible devices"... ahh what a wild world we live in

Piracy adjacent here. We have a printer, colour laserjet, that is from another 'region', was a really nice printer and we bought it just before moving and decided to bring it. There is an equivalent printer here with the same cartridges but we've found out they're 'region locked'. Brand is HP/Samsung.

I was wondering if anyone knows if third party cartridges which work around the chip also work around the region protection? We can actually region reset our printer, however 2/4 toner cartridges still have quite a bit in them so we'd like to use those up completely before switching.

Anyone know much about this?

Well I went with your guy's advice and got me a drive that still has a year of manufacturer warranty on top of the eBay 1 year warranty, but a bit of a sketch seller ngl. The drive itself seems legit visually with matching serial numbers, but womp womp it doesn't work. At least it fails to initalize, data error (cyclic redundancy check) on windows and some kinda fsync error iirc using "Disk" on Linux, both errors are relating to hardware. I used both a tested enclosure and connected it via sata cables on different machines and the same problems, hehe. I'm just wondering how the limited warranty with WD (the manufacture of my drive) works and what you're experiences are getting a replacement from them? I keep reading horror stories that they won't help since it was brought from an unauthorized reseller, etc... Also is it worth even sending it in? I read the replacement is another refurb with no warranty afterwards. The alternative would be going the eBay route and getting a replacement that's also used but will retain the warranty from the seller. Which is the better option? BTW don't worry about data loss still practicing the 3,2,1 method this is purely about the best bang for my buck.

Goddamn wall of text, I'm sorry...

TLDR: Wants to know about the warranty and replacement process of WD and concerned about receiving assistance from WD if the drive was purchased from an unauthorized reseller. Also considering whether it is worth sending the drive to the manufacturer which means receiving a refurb drive with no warranty or if getting a used replacement from eBay seller, which comes with a warranty, is a better option?

Although playing online works, I haven't tried a direct connection/invite with another person, due to me lacking PC master race friends.

In the general server list, I think the SA region stands for South America? In any case, my ping was really high, so actually playing online is not feasible for me.

I'm using IGG games' torrent version, it was a simple extract and run. The fake steam account name defaults to NooB, so I recommend you change it in the following folder: %appdata%\Roaming\Goldberg SteamEmu Saves\settings - The account_name.txt is just the shown name, while the user_steam_id.txt is the acc number. I've changed both. Keep in mind that changing the id might make your saves disappear, so you'll have to create a new world, then copy over the save files - %appdata%\Local\Pal\Saved

If you're a fan of survival crafting, this game is a must play. The fact that you can play solo and change the world settings (exp rate, stamina depletion, hunger, etc) anytime before entering makes it perfect for all skill levels. I just think the default capture rate is too low, but I guess it makes more sense when you're online in a guild?

No idea how many hours I've spent playing, but I'm definitely buying this game in a few months.

Does anyone have any idea where to find the original Punk'd episodes? I was having some nostalgia and it seems like that show was nuked from the internet. Any chance anyone has a copy somewhere somehow?

My options for internet connectivity are very limited. I was wondering if I could go to a library or coffee shop or wherever has a good connection and do all my downloading remotely, or if I will run into problems/restrictions.

I'm thinking they may not allow VPN's or something like that?

I'd really like to get started with this stuff but finding the technical requirement exhausting.

Trying to install privoxyvpn- "simply add the proxy to your browser and ensure the configuration is correct" (no help as to what this means, or how to do it and following the basic instructions just renders my browser unable to connect - googling the error message gives me replies like "simply make sure you read the logs" (no description of how to get to the logs or how to read them)

hearing I need a proxy and a reverse proxy, install SWAG — "first, point the A name at your server and the CNAME at the A and then install the SSL certificate - but be sure to pick between directories and subdomains if you have fewer than 20 domains in your account."

Like what the fuck does any of this mean?

Then I hear if I have a proxy it might interfere with the reverse proxy and both might interfere with the VPN and vice versa.

How does one even get started?

Hello! I recently set up my first home server, and would like to set up qbittorrent on it. I tried using protonVPN, which is what I use on desktop, but got rate limited because torrenting on the free plan is not allowed. What do you think of hide.me vpn? it has a CLI linux version, I think I can install it inside the docker container and set up a killswitch (that should be built in? at least that's what they say) to torrent safely.

I know paid VPNs are better and also pretty cheap, but I cannot afford one right now. Any tips?

I've heard great things about them but I'm not too willing to part with 50 euros over them. Are lessons ever put on PDFs or videos, or is there a way to keep them fully interactive? Any resource would greatly help. Thank you all!

Anyone have resources for finding book summary pdfs? I have Blinkist already.

I am interested in Shortform but they never run any discounts. Their summaries are fantastic.

You all remember just a few weeks ago when Sony ripped away a bunch of movies and TV shows people “owned”? This ad is on Amazon. You can’t “own” it on Prime. You can just access it until they lose the license. How can they get away with lying like this?

GitHub has removed the popular pirate streaming app VancedFlix from its servers in response to a takedown notice sent by Sky Italia. The request targets a similarly named repository on the developer platform, as well as the app's APK file that's linked under the download button on the official site VancedFlix.
