Like I get why, I get what made her so crazy, but like, it also hurt me to lose another friend to That Shit. If only she were, you know, loved, that literally wouldn't have happened.

But your parents raise you to be a smelly grubby dependent burden with UTIs and constant itching from not showering. And they hate you for being a burden. They hate you so much they want you gone.

Whenever you wanted pretty clothes and pretty scented body care stuff, your whole family bullied you for trying to be more than. You were ridiculed enough to the point you quit asking. You will never wear a skirt. You will never wear a shirt with your favorite character. You will never express yourself outside of old bargain tees which are never replaced because they cost more now and no one wants to spend money on you.

You look at all the other people your age wearing subculture fashion and expressing themselves, and you normalize that they're actual people so they can do that, and it's out of your league. You normalize it so much that you hate yourself for using hand sanitizer with a scent as that's too fancy for you. You wish you could be human, and the closest thing you'll get to being human is daydreaming.

Everyone in your family hates you for being dependent, but bullies you whenever you try to do anything on your own. Eventually the bottled up rage against them explodes.

But what caused the sudden rage? Nothing happened to you. Your family loves you, and you're spoiled. Get over it.

And I mourn who all those unluckier children could have been. Literally what will it take to just fucking eradicate that shit? How many more children need to lose their entire lives? How many more transgender people need to be forced to live as their birth gender while being told to get over it? How many more disabled adults need to live like prisoners who raped babies or committed some other atrocious crime for their whole lives? How many more people need to attempt suicide, be resuscitated, and be trapped in what's essentially prison until they die of something they can't be saved from?

No one ever notices or cares about the lives that shit destroyed and they never will.
