Usually I'd say 'fuck the SDA', and today will be no exception: Fuck the SDA. Join RAFFWU.
Yeah, that is very silly. The usual convention when you have a tie for a ranking is to skip the appropriate number of rankings afterwards. Probably deliberate so that more countries' media picks up the story because their country has a high ranking.
Also, hats off to Henley & Partners for somehow convincing the media that a very straightforward ranking needs to be a brand-named 'index'. They don't even compile the data! They just take it from IATA.
Full rankings and more info here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henley_Passport_Index
~~Should just be able to do it with one rule of Disallow: /c/*@*
, I think?~~
I forgot that federated posts are just under /post/*
like local ones are. You'd have to block each federated post individually. Not sure if you can do that on each individual page? Certainly adding every federated post to the top-level robots.txt isn't feasible.
Maybe they were comparing the physical area? Which seems the most useless comparison…
Yeah, that's all I can think of too, but they didn't mention it anywhere in the article.
New SA battery storage project approved near Mount Gambier will be three times the size of 'Tesla battery'
Pacific Green says the Limestone Coast Energy Park, which will have a capacity of 1,500 megawatt hours ...
The latter battery, colloquially known as the "Tesla battery", can store up to 193 megawatt hours (MWh) and was once the world's biggest.
1500 / 193 = 7.77
So while that is 'more than three', why doesn't it say 'more than seven'? Am I missing something? When they say 'size' do they not mean capacity?
Chas was still doing the Planet Extra Podcast while he was on break 😆
I highly recommend it, if too much detail is never enough: https://planetamericapodcast.libsyn.com/
🤮 What a fucking embarrassment that we still officially have a monarchy.
Fucking Setka. As always, folks, power corrupts. Unions need to be under the control of an active and engaged rank and file base.
It's a developing story, but at least two are dead - the shooter and an attendee.
Yeah, fair enough. I don't have any first-hand experience, but advice I've heard is that if you can get just one other committed person on board, you're halfway there.
If you've got a local Food Not Bombs group, that's a good place to find people that are into cooperation. There's other community groups around that might have people who are interested or that are willing to provide infrastructure of some kind - men's sheds come to mind. Otherwise, it's worth a try posting on local Facebook groups.
There's probably a guide or blog written around getting something like this set up. I should have a dig around.
Less nefariously: it's a poetry slam, organised in their spare time and making no profit, and they don't want to go to the effort and expense of getting a bank account, setting up a merchant account, and buying a card reader.
