The point is valid in general, sure. But when a black ACTOR deliberately makes his hair messy as part of a character, describing that character as presented is not wrong, not racist, and not problematic. It's not a person trying to live their life and being mistreated due to their hair.

It's a person deliberately presenting themselves that way. Context matters. Making an issue out of things by taking them out of context isn't helping anyone.

I'm quite aware of that fact. Not sure where I gave the impression otherwise. When it comes down to it, pretty much all the options are just proxies/aggregators for other search engines - that introduce privacy.

Been using duckduckgo for years and generally gets the job done. If I want more local specific results then I'll just add !g to my search which'll do a Google search

Yes! It’s possible for both android and iOS. Not sure how long Android has had it but iOS 16.4 and up supports it.

I mean it works great as is. What do you not get right now that you’d get as an app?

Agreed! Memmy, Mlem and wefwef (PWA) are my favorite so far.

Thunder and liftoff are cool but feel more like Android UX based apps. Glad there’s options though that is what matters!

Stoked to hear that runelite plugins are in open beta. I prefer HDOS vs the 117 hd plugin. Would be nice for Jamflex to add support to the launcher.
