Are you using 2 factor authentication?

We support both 0.18.x and 0.17.x but we don't have 2 factor auth support yet

Zach here! (The old lemmynade dev)

Super excited to move this forward with Micahel! Thanks everyone for the support and engagement so far!

Hey everyone!

It was made aware to me that there was another dev working from the Lemmur code base but focusing on iOS! We got connected and we believe we can really create something special if we team up!

So we’ve just announced our new combined app Liftoff!

We’ve brought together the best parts of both projects and have opened up the source for the project for your inspection and contributions.

We will be using GitHub for logging issues, and I will ensure over the next couple of days that all the points that have been raised here or through TestFlight are captured there.

If you want to have longer discussions and interactions with us, we have a new community at https://lemmy.world/c/liftoff.

Thanks for everyone already jumping in and engaging! I know it's been a little jarring with all the apps but we're confident this is the best way to move forward!

Thanks,

-Zach

If that makes you feel happy then sure let's go with that. 😉

Myself and the Limbo (iOS) developer are joining forces. Announcement coming soon! That was why we rebranded.

This is now fixed in:

https://github.com/liftoff-app/liftoff/releases/tag/v0.9.11

Lemmy Server 0.18.x had a breaking change. This update also allows 0.17.x and 0.18.x to coexist!

Hmm okay, I tested a couple different ones but I know there's multiple release candidates. 0.18 support is still in progress. Can you add the instance just not log in?

Much appreciated. There a couple bugs left that have been reported but should have those sorted this week. it's working pretty well!

Great build! A miter station is next on my to-do list!

Thanks for putting this together!

I'm the dev that is working on Lemmynade (resurrected from lemmur)

Things are getting pretty solid. I'm using it as my main without issues right now. Even on v0.18.x instances.

Try out the latest release here:

F-Droid, Play store, and iOS should be here next week!

I've released a new version of Lemmynade with some important bug fixes and a new compact post view feature!

You can download the android APK here:

Android/Desktop Packages

https://github.com/zachatrocity/lemmynade/releases/tag/v0.9.4

Disclaimer

There is a significant bug with the comments not working properly. They're not nested under the parent comments. Despite complete lack of API documentation for lemmy I know the issue and I'm working on this now.

Overview

This is the first release, and by that I mean released through the original ci/cd. There was significant amount of updating that had to be done due to the app not being touched in over 4 months. Currently only Android and desktop are in this release but I intend to fully support iOS I just need to get registered for code signing and test flight.

I wanted to get an "alpha" out there to start getting testing feedback to see what is broken.

Changelog

  • Upgraded SDK and kotlin
  • Various API changes due to app being stale for 4 months and 3 versions behind Lemmy
  • Reconfigured build pipeline to support new app name
  • App renamed to Lemmynade
  • updated the dart Lemmy API client (separate repo)

Reporting bugs/Feature Requests

Please use the issue tracker on the GitHub. This app wasn't touched for 4 months and was left stale when Lemmy was on 0.15.* so there will be bugs. Please help me find them!

Log bugs/feature requests here: https://github.com/zachatrocity/lemmynade/issues/new/choose

Hey guys, a week ago I started working on a lemmy app like many others as an excuse to learn flutter. Along the way I found an old app that was abandoned but very well built.

After a couple of days I was able to get things running and semi-useable again. Including posting this post from the app! The main effort being updating to 0.17.x.

Here's some screenshots:

I'll be renaming the app (so I can republish it), tentatively under the name "Lem".. but really open to ideas here.

Morning Cheers to all you dads out there!

I was able to bring my twin girls home from the NICU yesterday, such a great father's day gift!
