Even that would not be enough to protect Pornhub, too. Some kid gets on their parents' account? Bam, lawsuit. Even the total ban is not enough. Some kid uses a VPN to access the site? Lawsuit.
It is not physically possible to comply with these laws. (The NC one at least.)
I don't think they need to. For the most part, it's just convenient for the majority to not get anything done and it's campaign material for Manchin to betray the party. I think that by and large, it's a symbiotic relationship where both sides get what they want.
Even if they had all the money, the expectation is that they would have more than all the money next quarter. Publicly traded corporations are cancer.
My USPS straight up loses (steals?) like 25% of my packages. It was never great but it hit new lows in the Trump years.
You know a lot of the thing about trucks is purely regulatory. Trucks are exempt from a lot of regulations that cost money and they're huge, both of those things mean more resources going into luxury and such.
These are vehicles that exist at the intersection of a bunch of different things. It's wrong to say Americans will only allow companies to sell big, stupid, dangerous trucks. Change the incentives and we'd see a change in what people buy and drive.
Maybe enough people resigned.

The deadliness of the infection has gone down but the transmissibility is actually up, for what that's worth.

There's every reason to get believe the worst about this guy, he's so evil he would be out of place as a comic book villain. Well, maybe unless it was one of those edgy political comics.
That said the cash is just a side effect and the actual reason he put this together, as i understand it, is to get revenge for Britain banning fox hunting.
