I know the-eye is less than reputable in the eyes (NPI) of many other tracker administrators. Something about trying to replicate other trackers and not willing to play by the rules set down by other trackers for good reasons.

There is honestly a lot to unpack around the whole thing. Do a search for

ATM 760 titles I don't load everything into Calibre. Just things I might read or want in my calibre-web for friends and sync'ing to my Kobo.

I will definitely be sticking around. I do wish lemmy.ml hadn't taken quite such a huge bite of the FOSS sandwich. Most my interests lay in answering and asking questions about the software projects I use daily. And the lemmy.ml server is crushed. Wish there was a Libera(IRC server where many FOSS projects live) lemmy. That would have made sense to me.

EDIT. Corrected Limmy to Lemmy. I keep doing that...

Excellent. As a side note to the difficulty in search for communities. I just learned this: Use the community search at something like https://lemmyverse.net and here is the important part, right click copy the URL to the community. Not the name@instance link. You want the https//name.domain/c/community link. Put that into your home instance ALL search. I now have 100% success.
