If you do that, you're gonna make people even poorer than they are, making everything more expensive for everybody. Have you ever wondered why health is hell of a lot cheaper in Europe than in places like the USA? It's precisely because we have welfare payouts to let the government take care of the price and regulate abuse by pressurizing the different industries, while in the USA, you have basically nothing, so it's the customer vs the entire industry and guess who wins? Not the people. So you have to pay your meds or consultations 10 times the price you would in Europe. Money you give to the state through welfare is money you give to yourself...

Pop!OS is a pretty stable distro, so there shouldn't be any dependencies problem: you usually have that on arch or arch based distros, even if it's quite rare. Have you ever uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it but without some of its dependencies? Or ignored a package it asked you to install with it afterwards? If not, maybe it's just an update that went wrong, like the PC shut down during an update or something. So update your system, uninstall firefox and reinstall. Your data stored in your home directory (in .mozilla, a hidden folder) like your history, extensions, opened tabs, should be conserved, even if you use apt purge.

There are evidence. A lot of evidence. Any country where the minimum wage was raised significantly, even if most of the time, it's the private enterprises which end up paying those workers, we can see a boost of the GDP, which is the metric usually used to measure the consumption (and therefore production) of a country, considering something like 70% of the GDP is direct consumption (don't remember the exact stat). The simple reason behind it is that if you give people money, they will spend it, paying the companies and people making the stuff so they can make more stuff. How can you except products to be sold if nobody has the money to buy it? And considering a lot of people talk about the price rise and hot having the money to pay this or that, it becomes basic logic, at this point.

Well good for you if that's the case, but be careful, you're better safe than sorry. Lack of good sleep is a big problem in today's society and one of the sign can be falling asleep very fast, so considering it can have serious consequences on one's life, it's always good to keep an eye on that. Religion doesn't try to answer anything: it's just blind faith. You're not gonna try to tell me religious people are "looking for" anything. The definition of religion is "belief in a deity". It doesn't try to explain or find out anything.

Since when atheism prevents philosophy? Haven't you heard of atheist philosophers? They exist, they're not fairies, you know. About morality, it's still a subject and a lot of philosophers have different opinion, with the subjective or objective moral, relativistic moral, etc... And whatever you mean by "derive any kind of morality based solely on science results", it's still better than arbitrarily define a moral based on a book written by some people a long time ago to then enforce it for centuries, with violence if needed, and then when the bad atheists come to clean all the mess by making moral laws to have everybody end up agreeing on after few decades, claim it was just a misinterpretation of the texts or whatever, which is the dumbest excuse I've ever heard of.

Atheism isn't a religion either: atheism is a lack of belief in the existence of an unproven (and certainly unprovable) entity. So a lack of belief certainly didn't kill anybody.

And atheism was never the reason or the foundation of the sentence "the end justify the means", it existed long before atheism was even a concept.

I'll happily switch to Linux on the day when every new release works with no extra problems, tinkering, waiting or searching caused by my choice of OS.

Let me give you an honest answer that no Linux users is willing to give you (certainly because they fear to scare people off of Linux): you will never see the day where Linux will be equal if not better than Windows for gaming (which it can be sometimes, but it's not always the case) if not a certain amount of people get out of their comfort zone and are willing to try something new. In fact, nobody can improve anything in their life if they're not willing to get out of their comfort zone.

You're already using a PC to play video games, I did this choice too, so trust me, you definitely have the energy to change for a better OS, something ever you recognize as having qualities outside of games. Otherwise, you would've played exclusively on console where you actually have a plug and play experience... unfortunately at the cost of your freedom to use the machine you bought however you want, besides all the other considerable disadvantages.

For me, Linux made as much progress as it can do, meaning now, for Linux to be viable for gaming, either companies start to move their asses and make Linux native games (which they can easily do, if they're willing to use the right tools for their game like Vulkan) but I hardly see that coming any time soon, or new users have to come to Linux so that companies would finally care. Personally, I made my choice by making the first step.

5 minutes is pretty damn low: are you sleep depraved? If so, you must be exhausted at the end of the day or constantly tired throughout the day. The average and normal time (when just being tired and not exhausted at the end of the day) is about 20 minutes. You might want to checked on that and get a better sleep quality as you seem to say you have 6 hours of sleep per day, which isn't ideal but good enough.

(to complete the comment before me) ... and that you assume the technology is also mostly stagnant in the last 2 decades, which it certainly wasn't, especially in the computer science world. Though it could've got much much faster if people were paid more relative to what they produce.

I didn't have to spend hours getting my GPU to work on Linux... What were you using exactly, as a distro and as a GPU? Not that I try to invalidate your experience, but afaik, if you have a AMD or Intel GPU, it should work out of the box and if you have an Nvidia GPU, any user friendly Linux distro that is optionally made for gaming have drivers preinstalled and can easily be updated through a GUI or a two words command so that you can directly play as soon as you installed the distro.

Openboard and Florisboard are pretty good alternatives. I don't like them though (nor do I prefer Gboard or Swiftkey) as I prefer a type of keyboard very practical to write due to it's rounded keys, which is Typewise.

Unless it's a RAM filling issue, because you would have too little RAM, and even then, the entire OS crashing and not just Firefox would be very unlikely, I don't see any reason for it to crash your entire OS. Regardless, there are Firefox forks that use much much less RAM. You're using Windows, Mac or Linux first? Try to uninstall, clean everything and reinstall with a new profile, it may work, who knows. If not, then it has to be your OS.
