Right? AI chatbots are so bad with hallucinations. As a programmer I can usually spot the inaccurate code chatbot is spewing, but these kids won't be able to spot the inaccuracy unless there's very strict quality control..which would require human teachers anyway.

Yes that's true. They still map out every intersection, sign, signals etc. Probably it's much safer for a L4 system to have HD maps when compared to a L2 driver-assist.
The fix doesn't help much for already affected systems, as they're even unable to boot. Only workaround is to manually delete the files in safe mode for every system one by one, which is even more difficult if it's bitlocker protected.
Absolutely crazy that they managed to screw up this bad.
Oh, that's crazy. I guess it's more about the cost/risk of upgrading their core systems rather than the language itself.
