Gosh and they hoped to be Verified by launch?

I really hope Larian and Valve sort this out. I personally don't mind doing a bunch of tweaks but its going to annoy my wife and others if they cant install or update without thinking about it.

Avoiding stutter in DX9 and DX11 games (lemmy.ca)
 

The trick is to add the following to a game's launch options in Steam:

RADV_PERFTEST=gpl %command%

This totally and completely eliminated shader cache stutter for me in Resident Evil Revelations, with a cleared shader cache. Prior to doing this the game stuttered every time I fired a gun or entered a new area.

The trick does not work on DX12 games.

No way! I started at 23. I actually signed up to start a degree in this field at 16 and then backed out but came back to it later. Lots of people change careers later on into this field and it's totally fine for them.
