I shared with my brother for a while even in different cities. Once we downloaded at the same time we received a warning but no ban. Since then we don't share anymore but probably could have for a lot longer time without consequences.
I feel like I might be missing a detail of your use case but have you tried pinned tabs?
Same for the gloves. Also how would we know he didn't pick it up second hand for way less?
