I wonder if climate change will drive people back to places like Pennsylvanian? Good water, forested, temperate.

city

It's their fantasy that they'll go into the 'city' to take it over. Let them. Downtown is mostly social services in major cities, maybe some healthcare or a large teaching hospital. They'll quickly realize that pointing guns at homeless people isn't very productive.

The vast majority of people live in suburbs, don't care about politics, don't follow the news.

Revenge fantasies are always stupid. Modern cities are vast tracks of cookie-cutter suburban housing.

I think that there might be a certain size that is just comfortable for a car. Elderly people really can't get into small micro-cars, like a Honda Fit, it's hard to maneuver into them if an older person has joint pain. I think that's why crossovers are popular, they're just regulars cars that have been given a 6inch lift and a hatchback to make storage easier.

1 extra year will help to see how the batteries actual perform. After 10 years a Tesla's battery is under 80% of its original capacity, you're at the point of losing 1/4, 25%, of range. Not sure how many fail completely.

I remember when corner stores rented DVDs, this could be another business for them. But...since they haven't adopted it I guess it really isn't that profitable. Power tool prices have come down in price and size.
