It's just a shitposting community where the rule is that you have to post something if you visit the community. Notably, the 196 community is disproportionately queer and/or trans, for some reason.

I was born at 5:30 pm. I guess I tend to have trouble getting any work done past that time of day. It's funny to think that it might be because my first "labor" ended at that time.

Stressed out about work, but at least today I had breakfast for dinner

Tofu scramble, fake sausage patties, waffle, hash brown, virgin mimosa

When I talked to my current psychiatrist about ADHD, she directed me to get neuropsychological testing. Might be worth looking into. I agree that your doc brushed off your concerns too quickly.

I'm just a dumbass in my late twenties, but I encourage you to ignore the nervousness and make the most of this exciting experience abroad! Feeling lost and worried about the future is a normal part of being human, in my opinion. You'll figure it out.

I was about to see if this article had been posted to the community yet. I'm fascinated by the UAP phenomenon, but I don't really believe a word of what Grusch says.

Sup nerd! I too like to shoot the shit. I feel like Lemmy has been pretty good for that in my experience so far.

I'll mostly stick with Lemmy, since I don't plan to download the official Reddit app once that becomes the only option.

I'll use Reddit again if they revise their API pricing so that third-party apps don't get shut down. Otherwise, I'll probably keep using Lemmy only, unless I get bored of it and abandon Redditesque sites altogether.
