Its mainly because Office now defaults its save location to Onedrive. The only real benefit I get is the auto save every 3 seconds. Other than that, I always try and point it to local. However, at work we're migrating to sharepoint so eventually Onedrive save will always be encouraged.

That. Weybred Lakes in Cornwall do that for their lodges. And a place we went to early in the year in Lake District. Its remote but can just see a farm house in the distance and they have point to point in the garden area of the lodge.
Nice timing. Going on a cruise over all of Christmas and won't have Internet but taking my laptop with me. Could use this on some of the posts I've saved thst talk about useful powershell scripts or python stuff.
Yes. There is an ex fbi agent that does talks about this. Clench your butt hole is how you fool it apparently. Thats not a joke. Apparently takes some practice. It massively ridiculous they are used.
