I want to run my own public supertux cart server since when i connect localy with my friends if we are more than 2 ppl any other will time out and noidea how to fix it so i thought this could be a opertunity on how to secure a exposed server.

I watched the techno tim security video where he said to isolate it on the local network then a local reverse proxy and a cloudflare one

So if i use it in a container is is restricted from the local network? if no how do i do that and do i need a seperate reverse proxy that only has acess to the one container in like a docker network and then i expose the port and make it acesseable with duck dns and then look into cloud flare

any more things i need to reseach and what ressources do you guys recomend for me

I got a hp elitedest 800g3 with a quad Core i5 6500 3,2ghz to 3,6 with 8gb ram

my current setup is a pi4b with a external raid enclosure running openmediavault and a bunch of other things

so no i am wondering what to use the new pc for i just slapped proxmox on it to decide later i think i am goingt to put the drive into the pc with sata and use openmedia vault or another nas os for software raid since hw raid isnt there wihtout the box (i think) so should i add a omv vm with a lot of power and in this like the jellyfin container and other stuff but then with caontainers i could use omv in the first place so i dont know what to do i could try true nas but i dont have any experience with it same with proxmox

any tipps on how to migrate from my pi and what the best use of the two together would be and what os or vms i should run on the pc
