I used emby briefly after ditching Plex then settled on jellyfin. It's been over a year and I've had no issues with reliability.
Well on one hand yes, everything is technically in some way related to politics, on the other hand I don't want to be constantly reminded and surprised (or not) by the new levels and ways people have managed to shittify the world that I'm going to have to put up with for the foreseeable future. It always seems to happen when I just want to play games or see something interesting or something else like that... Actually I'm not really ever in the mood for politics now that I think about it, it's too full of harmful decisions for me to be happy with any of it.
I found the second one to be the biggest change but 3rd seems like I don't really use it enough to justify it purely as an additional monitor
