We gotta stop acting like one decision determines a match. There's 100 minutes of football played with countless refereeing decisions and non-decisions throughout.

The way red cards have been handed out this season Gvardiol could easily have been sent off for his reckless high slide tackle. You can make arguments about any yellow card given throughout a game and say maybe that's harsh, and it changes the game because that player has to play differently for the rest of the game.

The way City were missing chances who's to say that Grealish would even have scored? Anything could have happened. Ref could have given about 7 City players yellow cards for dissent as well in the aftermath of the mistake which would bring players closer to suspension. Pretty sure Grealish was still in the face of the 4th official more than a minute after the incident, and he was already on a yellow. Rodri was having a go at the ref too. Haaland could have had 4 separate yellows for it.

So much goes on in a game of football that one decision does not determine the outcome.
