Same. I’m ‘all-in’ when it comes to Lemmy, but I only subscribed to a dozen subreddits I remember enjoying, and that’s it. Now I simply either sub to a new Com when I stumble upon it, or search for it after remembering a specific subreddit.

I’d rather leave Apollo/Reddit behind 🤷‍♂️

I wonder the same thing. All the kids stuff has their place, so everything can be put back into place, but I imagine that has to be done before cleaners come in as they don’t know where stuff is supposed to go (or they clean around it? ..which would be super half-assed)?

Implement this as a Settings toggle, presumably?

Apparently it is still upheld at the state level in 5 states.

  1. Yes, however it’s usually a little more expensive to get the same coverage, as the employer pays a part of employee’s insurance costs.
  2. Forfeit? No, they’ll still need insurance (you get a fine if you’re without insurance for more than 3 out of 12 months (at least, I think that was the case)).

A little bit, absolutely! Not to be too cynical but eventually this feeling will wane a bit. 7yrs in I still think I have a cool/chill job (dev)—and comparatively I make “good” money—but it’s still a job; I don’t code in my free time anymore. Once I’m done for the day I’d rather not look at a screen any more.

This all said, congrats!!

Waaay too old..

Of course not, dude. I switched careers from music to software dev at 28 without any formal education (now 7yrs later a senior dev).
